Ryan McDonough is a Vice President of Portfolio Operations at McNally Capital, where he focuses on performance improvement and value creation initiatives within the firm's portfolio companies.
Ryan joins McNally Capital from Bain & Company, where he advised Aerospace & Defense and Advanced Manufacturing clients on strategy, operational performance improvement, and value creation topics. He worked out of the firm's offices in both Washington, DC, and Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to Bain, Ryan was Vice President of Operations & Finance at a defense technology company, and he began his career as a Navy bomb disposal officer, serving multiple tours in Afghanistan and throughout the Middle East.
Ryan holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS from the United States Naval Academy, where he was a member of the Navy Rugby team.
Ryan resides in Washington, DC, and enjoys spending his free time on adventures with his wife and young son.
